The Legacy of Buildings: Thoughts on Becoming a Good Ancestor

Purpose Building Principal, Peter Halsall, will be the keynote speaker at the 16th Canadian Conference on Building Science and Technology Ontario Building Envelope Council.

Beginning with how personal and business perspectives of “sustainability” have evolved over time, he will discuss how companies and communities need to shift their norms to deliver solutions in this critical time for humanity. Our industry is responsible for building on the green shoots of widespread urgency to re-establish science as a trusted basis for decision-making. He will look at “Building Science” issues we need to move forward within this new paradigm.
